Formula to match names in two columns and copy team number in next column

Sorry if the subject is confusing. I have an excel spreadsheet with a list of names (List 1). In another spreadsheet I have a another list of names with their team number (List 2). There is an overlap in the names in List 1 and 2.&nbsp;I copied List 2 into the same sheet as List 1. What I want to do is find the names that appear in both lists, and copy their team number to List 1. So something like this:&nbsp;List 1&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;List 2name&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;team&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;name&nbsp; &nbsp;teamAmy&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Peter&nbsp; &nbsp; Team 1James&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Rob&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Team 3Peter&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Amy&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Team 2&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; James&nbsp; &nbsp; Team 1&nbsp;I want to fill up the team column in List 1. I know there's a find duplicates function, but i don't know how to use it to copy the values of one cell to another.&nbsp;Any help will be appreciated.&nbsp;
