Format Data Labels

I am using Excel for Mac 2021 version 16.69.1. I am trying to change the source of data labels in a chart to reference different cells. The Add Chart Element dropdown does not give me the "More Options" feature to change the reference cells.  I should get the drop down as in the tutorials below, but instead I'm getting the dropdown at the bottom.  Can anybody help me figure out how to change the references for these labels?

What I get when I go to the dropdown...No "More Data Label Options" choice.
