Fill Handle not numbering
The last few months I have not been able to use the fill handle to the number on excel. When I pull the handle down all I get is the number repeated not a number sequence.
For example I will put 1 in the first box and pull it down and I will just get all 1's in my boxes
But want I want is 1, 2,3,4, etc like it use to work

Colescfb If your "number" 1 is a text, it shall work. But if it is a real number you need to enter 1 in one cell, 2 in the cell below it. Then select both cells and fill down. Now, Excel will recognise the pattern and add 1 to each of the following cells. To my knowledge, that's how it always worked and still does.
