Extending Worksheet to Accommodate New Columns

Hello! 

 

I've started receiving a new error message in Excel.  I don't recall turning this sheet into a table.  I am receiving the attached error, indicating I can't insert new columns because doing so would push data off the edge of the worksheet.  It's asking me to delete columns to make room, except I can't delete columns because I need all of the content.  Currently my sheet extends to column BW.  

How do I fix this issue?

    Hello Anna,

     

    Even this will cause the problem:

     

    You have to clear the area around the data!

    Select all columns after the data, and then go to:

    Home >> Editing >> Clear >> Clear All

     

    Do the same thing with the rows below your data.
