have a spreadsheet that tracks stock performance with benchmarks for 5 days, 10 days, 25 days and 75 days. my problem is when there are 2 days closed for weekend the spreadsheet does calculate correctly. example 5 days only calculates 3 days on monday after weekend. thanks Jom

Huh? Your problem is that a two-day weekend (i.e., a normal weekend) does calculate correctly. How exactly is that a problem? Or did you omit the word "not" after "does"?
I assume you're actually wanting the gaps to be in terms of business days (or, more precisely, days when the stock market is open, but as someone who also invests and tracks performance of some stocks, I'm curious why you're being so particular in the first place. Why not just do, say, sequential Mondays (7 calendar days, but 5 "working days") or some other pattern like that? Why not track every day and use conditional formatting to highlight days 5-10-25-75?
I think we need a more clear statement of what your desire is in terms of this tracking, and then what your problem is. What is working? What's not working?
And, ideally, would you be willing to post a copy of your spreadsheet--or just this calendar aspect if you want to keep some of the rest of it confidential--on OneDrive or GoogleDrive with a link here that grants us access. That would help flesh out your verbal description.
