Excel workbook

Hi. I’ve just purchased a new cell laptop and opened it using windows 11. I am able to see my old worksheets in excel on the new screen via one drive (personal) but cannot I put new numerical values in cells. I’ve tried changing font and checking the cells for formulae, all is clear but no joy using numbers. Text can be applied no problem
