Excel/Word/PowerPoint file becomes corrupt when opening a file that contains a VBA project

I am an English/American customer and this happened to me on 5/7/23. I have the latest versions loaded on my system. My system is slow to close any office file (e.g. Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.). I couldn't find an Issue number so I copied the description into the subject above.

When I clicked yes to the query dialog box (see original issue https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/excel-word-powerpoint-file-becomes-corrupt-when-opening-a-file-that-contains-a-vba-project-or-after-enabling-a-macro-in-an-open-file-ad6ee6ca-db23-4614-a403-282821eb99f6?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us ), the recovered file was a binary version, which means all VBA files were lost. The original work book and individual sheets were not corrupted, but everything Macro/VBA was gone.  I am concerned that Office 365 is having more of a global issue than suggested in the original problem description. As I mentioned above, if I open an excel file and then close it. It can take up to several minutes to close the file. Many times with Outlook, I have to kill the process via Task Manager.

Issue Description:

"Japanese/Korean/Chinese customers may encounter some VBA project corruption issues upon opening a file containing a VBA project or when enabling macros when the file is open."
