Excel to xml conversion

Hi

We want to export excel columns into xml but some columns should be the attributes in xml and some should be tags.

Kindly suggest how can we achieve this. We already tried to map xml which has attributes and tags and then after adding new rows in excel, if we export it then it is showing error as cannot export into this format.
