Excel substracting time t1 - t2 (millisecond) error

Copper Contributor

It is not possible to substract time to the nearest millisecond

substracting time =T2-T1  expressed as hh:mm:ss.000 returns a #VALUE! error

18:13:35.03318:13:03.438#VALUE!

substracting Time formated as hh:mm:ss works ok

18:13:3518:13:0300:00:32

Any solution or work around ?

It works for me. But I have to use the comma as a decimal separator.

Thanks for the reply, I tried the comma without success.
my long time customized format in the control panel "region" setting is currently
HH:mm:ss.sss

still getting a #VALUE! error when using ss.sss instead of ss
