To be sure
- you have macro enabled Excel file saved on local drive, when open in Desktop app macro works
- you upload the file on Microsoft Teams (aka on SharePoint)
- from Microsoft Teams you open the file in Desktop Excel app, and now macro doesn't work

Correct. I found some information on different ways to try to upload but I haven't been able to get it to work.

Strange for me. If you keep the file on SharePoint, or on SharePoint through Teams interface, and open it in desktop app - macro shall work.- If I open the app yes it works again, but it doesn't work using it in Teams.
It shall not work in Teams since Teams doesn't support macros. Only in desktop app.
