Excel Online - Sheet views

Hello

We have a number of excel online (Sharepoint) workbooks with saved sheet views.

It appears that users are accidentally editing these views when using workbooks, then other users are unable to view the sheet view correctly or are unable to input data into the sheet.

Could this because they are filtering the sheet further when they are in a sheet view, which somehow is saving over the existing sheet view?

Is there a way to prevent users from accidently saving over sheet views?

Or is it better management for each user to have their own view?
