Excel Keeps Changing the format of my cells
I'm working with numbers that start with a leading 0 and I've formatted my cells as "Numbers" then "Text." I copy and paste a number from Word and Excel changes the format of the cell and removes the leading 0(s). How do I stop this from happening?

After pasting the data from Word to Excel, select the paste options dropdown and choose Match Destination Formatting. You can also use the shortcut Ctrl then M (separately) after pasting the data.
