Excel Hyperlinks

I have an Excel spreadsheet that on the cover page has a table of contents with clickable hyperlinks to navigate to different sections of the cover page. When I convert the spreadsheet to a PDF format, it kills the links and they don't do anything in the PDF. I found a workaround by copying and pasting the sheet into Word and removing the links and then adding bookmarks and links in the Word document. Is there any way that I can make the hyperlinks survive the conversion from Excel directly into the PDF. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks!
