Excel date calculation help

Copper Contributor

Not familiar at all with Excel & would appreciate any help! So if I have to redo a form every year, and I need to know when I have less than 30 days from the due date (shows "yes" or "no" or highlights the area or somehow). For example, if I submitted my form on 4/23/23, I need to resubmit this by 4/23/24. I want to know when it's 3/23/24 so I know I have 30 days left to redo it. Thanks!!

Select the range with the submission dates.

On the Home tab of the ribbon, click Conditional Formatting > New Rule...
Select 'Format only cells that contain'.
Leave the first drop down set to 'Cell Value'.
Select 'less than or equal to' from the second drop down.
In the box next to it, enter the formula

=EDATE(TODAY(),-11)

Click Format...
Activate the Fill tab.
Select a highlight color.
Click OK, then click OK again.
