Excel Custom Cell Style
- Jul 15, 2018If I create that style *and then apply it to the cell*, save close and reopen the file, the style sticks.
Format a cell exactly as you would want the style to become. Net to that cell, enter the Style name you want to use. Also, mention which checkboxes from the define style dialog you want checked. Then upload that Excel file and I can have a look.
Attached is the excel doc. You will see in the screenshot, I add the 5th style just the same as the rest of them. Then I save and close. When I reopen, it is gone -- like the attached excel doc. I've tried this with both excel templates and regular docs and I've created multiple different files building all 5 styles from scratch, and this is what always happens. I'm going crazy!

I could add the style (based on the formatted cell without a problem, I called it "Style 5" and it sticked around after a save, close and re-open of the file.

So weird. I did it and called it Style 5, save, close, reopen -- it was there. Just changed the name of that style to Title_WSA, save, close, reopen -- it was gone. This is ridiculous. I want to name it Title_WSA because that is the same name as this style in our Word templates (and there really is no reason why this would keep deleting itself).
When you save it with the name ' Title_WSA ' is it still there after saving and closing?
