Excel converts a column with battery voltage

Hi guys,
Excel converts a column with battery voltage into a date format. When I change the format to text, a completely different number comes out. So for example in the first row with battery voltage it would be 12.7(V) and Excel makes it 12.Jul. When I change that to text it comes out 44754.
Can someone help me please ?

Change the column format to text first. Then enter the voltage data.

DCConnected Glad I could help. By the way, the 44754 is not just any number. It's the sequential number that Excel assigns to July 12, where it starts counting from January 1, 1900. When you changed the format from Date to Text, it turned the date number into a text string containing that number.
