excel: conflicted copies
Wondering how I may resolve an issue: I have 1 excel spreadsheet file, and thanks to Dropbox cloud, I now have 2 of the files! There are help docs for how to merge WORD documents, but I don't see one for Excel. Can anyone shed light on this for me? Thank you- /E
Brian3302 I'd say you just enter =C1-A1 in B1. That will return 15 in the first example and -15 in the second.

Word documents, generally, are a LOT simpler than Excel workbooks. So maybe you could give some idea of how complex your workbooks are. What sort of data do they contain? How is it arrayed? How many sheets in each workbook? That kind of information. If it's not proprietary information, perhaps you could post copies.
