I want to make an "inside" border inside a cell, like 4 little squares inside 1 cell. Is there an easy way besides adding a bunch of columns and rows? It shows a picture on border but it's grayed out.

@Brenda_Brendel , if your need is just to provide visual bisecting lines inside a cell, then attached file template may be helpful to be used using format painter / copy-paste. It has example cells with either horizontal or vertical bisecting line, but sorry, a combination of both was not possible. These cannot be created from Excel interface. (I could create these using a macro as a workaround. It is not a perfect solution and may not look good with too small or too big cell sizes.)
