Dynamic arrays not working in Teams Excel
Hi,
I don't know if this is something that other people are finding but my dynamic arrays don't work within Teams.
If I open 'in app' they work fine but not in Teams Excel.
Disappointing as I need several non-excel users to access budget spreadsheets and I'd rather not tell them to open them in the Excel app as I'm sure they'll start saving them all over the place.
Do they not work at all or is there something else at play here?
That's something else. Actually Excel in Teams is the same as Excel for web and the lates supports dynamic arrays.
Another story Excel for web has limited functionality compare to Excel desktop app. Without the file it's hard to say what exactly doesn't work. You have #N/A error, #CALC! could appear due to other errors, etc.

- DazzathedrummerCopper ContributorAh - I hadn't spotted the #N/A - It also just occurred to me that dynamic arrays are working elsewhere in the same workbook.
Its an XLOOKUP() that gets the GL code name - I had a type mismatch between the that sheet and the table. The code should have been text.
Thanks for the pointer - I don't think I'd have spotted it!Dazzathedrummer , great to know you sorted this out, thank you for the feedback.
- JKPieterseSilver ContributorWhat happens if you share the Excel file from a Sharepoint (or OneDrive for Business) location?
- NicholasccyCopper ContributorBrilliant idea!
