Drop down List with cell color formatting
Can someone please assist me with how to format a cell that I have added 6 names in the list however I would like each name when selected to be formatted to a specific color in the cell.

Hello,
you can use conditional formatting for that. You need to set up one rule per possible name. Select the cells that you want to format, then on the Home ribbon click
Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cells Rules > Text that Contains
Enter the first name into the dialog and select an existing format from the dropdown or create a new format of your choice.
Repeat for all names and use a different colour for each name.
