I am using an excel sheet (csv) to give instructions to a robot on another software. The software states that it is compatible with csv files, and has worked before. Every so often there is an issue that it does not recognize or process the information from the csv file and I cannot use the robot.
My question is if there are specific differences between Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2310 Build 16.0.16924.20054) 64-bit and Microsoft® Excel® 2019 MSO (16.0.10394.20022) 32-bit in the way they format or export to csv files. In the past when the software does not read correctly the csv file, the fix has been to copy and paste the data in the csv into a different file and that sometimes works.
The computer I have used to generate the csv files has the Excel Version 2310 Build 16.0.16924.20054, and the computer connected to the robot has 16.0.10394.20022. We noticed there may be a trend that the csv files generated from our computers do not work vs the files generated on the robot computer do work.
The software is for Biomek i5.
