If a dropdown list appeared on a cell in Excel for Android by accident and you want to remove it, you can try the following steps:
- Tap on the cell containing the dropdown list.
- Look for a small icon or arrow next to the cell that indicates the presence of a dropdown list.
- Tap on the icon or arrow to open the dropdown list.
- From the dropdown list, select any option to temporarily display the list again.
- Tap outside the dropdown list to close it.
- Long-press on the cell to activate the cell editing mode.
- On the keyboard, look for a small "x" button or a "Clear" button.
- Tap on the "x" or "Clear" button to remove the dropdown list from the cell.
If these steps don't work or if the data menu is empty, you can try the following alternative:
- Tap on the cell containing the dropdown list.
- Tap on the "Edit" button or the cell editing option on the keyboard to activate the cell editing mode.
- Delete the content of the cell by either pressing the backspace key on the keyboard or tapping on the "Delete" button.
- Tap outside the cell to exit the editing mode.
By removing the content of the cell, you should be able to get rid of the dropdown list. If the issue persists, you may need to explore the settings or options specific to the Excel app for Android or consult the app's documentation for further assistance.
