Dark blue, verticle line on spreadsheet

I have a workbook with 4 sheets.  One of them has a Dark blue, verticle line on spreadsheet which I am unable to remove.  I have check everything I can think of; page breaks, etc. but can find no way to delete.  also, I would like to know what causes this.

It's a bit difficult to tell from your image, but it might be that you have freeze panes turned on on that sheet. 

Try using View>Freeze Panes>Unfreeze Panes:

It was the Freeze Panes....Duh. should have know that.  thanks for the speedy reply.
