Created barcodes in Excel to print labels

Hello,

I have created sequential barcodes in Excel and need to print them on an Avery label.  Every time I try to merge, I am only getting the formula to print, not the result of the formula (barcode).  It prints fine from excel.  It seems to not communicate between the two programs.  Is this possible?  Instead should I create labels in Word and merge from Excel to Word label format?

    I have no experience with product barcodes per se, but I do use mail merge from Excel to Word for address labels and have the zip code bar codes print. I always do that by letting the Word feature process the zip code. I'd assume the same would work for you.
