The many sheets workbook... then I want all of the tabs to pull into a master tab that has all data. I should mention that I am working on a Mac.

Don't be too hasty with that reply. I actually think Patrick2788 was asking not "Which arrangement of the raw data is clearer?" but rather "Which arrangement would you rather work with to produce your summary analysis?"
Yes, the raw data is "clearer" when you use separate sheets. That was my point to begin with. But the consolidated raw data is easier to work with. And it's working with that you're trying to do.
