Comments binding

Is there any way to make a comment "stick" to a specific value?

 

For example, C2=00912

Comment on C2 is, "this employee is awesome"

 

If I type 00912 in any cell on any sheet, I would like to see that same comment automatically.

      Its not a specific file, I just want that when a comment is placed on a cell value, then that comment repeats on any other cell that has the same value in any other page.

        Hello Ocasio27,

         

        This would not be possible without the use of VBA. And even so, I do not have an answer for this. Is it necessary to apply a comment to a certain value? Why not add a column to refer to via VLOOKUP() or INDEX()+MATCH()?
