/ comes up with letters

Question

Everytime I put / in excel I get all these letters comes up where file,home etc is and I don't know how to get it back to normal.&nbsp;Please help&nbsp;

Inkedclo&nbsp;I believe that is a default setting, but you can change it in File, Options, Advanced, Lotus compatibility (all the way at the bottom).Remove the / in the box and now, when you start&nbsp; typing with / the Excel menus will not be activated.&nbsp;

Inkedclo&nbsp;Works for me. Then I don't know what's causing it in your Excel. Sorry.

That's very strange. Could you please share on which Excel platform you are and did you remove slash in the box or change on space?
