Color and Line formatting

#1.  I try to use the color feature in Excel but nothing is colorized on the screen?  There is only color when I print it out.

#2.  I have my data in lined and labeled boxes but when I print it out there are no lines?

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with color and line formatting in Excel. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve these issues:

    #1. Color Formatting Issue:

    • Make sure that the cells you're trying to colorize are not formatted with white font color, which would make the text invisible on the screen.
    • Check if the "No Fill" option is selected for the cell's fill color. If so, change it to the desired color.
    • Verify that the "Show Sheet Tabs" option is enabled. Sometimes, if sheet tabs are hidden, it can affect the display of cell colors.
    • Ensure that the zoom level of the worksheet is set to a level where cell colors are visible. You can adjust the zoom level by using the zoom slider in the bottom-right corner of the Excel window.

    #2. Line Formatting Issue:

    • Check the print settings to ensure that gridlines are enabled for printing. You can do this by going to File > Print > Page Setup and making sure that the "Gridlines" option is checked.
    • If you're using borders to create lines around cells, ensure that the border styles are set correctly. Sometimes, borders may not appear in print if they are set to a very light color or if the line style is set to "None".
    • Verify that the "Print Gridlines" option is enabled in the Excel options. Go to File > Options > Advanced, and under the "Display options for this worksheet" section, make sure that the "Print" option for "Gridlines" is checked.

If you've tried these troubleshooting steps and are still experiencing issues, it's possible that there may be other settings or configurations affecting the display of colors and lines in your Excel workbook. In this case, you may need to provide additional details about your specific setup for further assistance. As was brought to your attention in the previous message.
