Changing absolute hyperlinks to relative to facilitate transferring to sharepoint (online)
Dear reader,
On of our divisions needs to start working on sharepoint online but has a lot of links in their excel to other excels. For example: a link with this pathname: ='H:\Mijn bestanden\DMARC\[test voor koppelingen.xlsx]Sheet1'!$B$2
These are absolute links so when we move the other excel to a different place it will not be found anymore. I tried to make it: ='\DMARC\[test voor koppelingen.xlsx]Sheet1'!$B$2 but then I get a error message =VERW!
What do I need to do?
In the end I would like to bring these hundreds of excels to sharepoint online but now it's already not possible to change it from H-share to Q-share for example.

Actually Excel keeps relative reference on another file link, how it works is explained here Description of link management and storage in Excel (microsoft.com)
In addition, Excel Online doesn't work with file system links, links on another workbooks in cloud are only coming and available for quite small portions of insiders.
