Cell by the ribbon
Suddenly the space by the ribbon is not showing the individual cell. How do I get this back so I can edit information?
If the formula bar, where you can edit the contents of a cell, is not visible in Excel, you can follow these steps to show it:
- Open Excel and go to the "View" tab in the ribbon.
- In the "View" tab, locate the "Show" group.
- Check the "Formula Bar" option. If it is already checked, uncheck it and then check it again.
- The formula bar should now appear at the top of the Excel window, displaying the contents of the selected cell.
Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + U" to toggle the display of the formula bar.
Once the formula bar is visible, you can click on any individual cell to edit its contents.
