Cant change the format of cells in excel

hi,

I had a column with dates in it in the format dd:mm:yyyy hh:mm. I had lots of spaces between them . how do i remove them. Also is it possible to remove spaces in fields of other columns

I have attached a snapshot of the column

    Go to the end of the column D and N.

    Double click and all the columns between D and N will open.

    Then go to the end of the column D and double click with the mouse.

    So the empty space is removed.

    Then simply go to other columns between D and N,

    select them individually and use the right mouse button and select Hide.

     

    It is even more understandable if you double-click with the mouse between columns C and D.
