Cannot download file as CSV

I am not able to download my excel file in CSV format it doesnot ask for the location to save the file may be there i will be able to change the file type it directly downloads the file as xlsx file what should i do i am using excel on microsoft teams and online excel in browser

below are some steps you can try:

For Microsoft Teams:

1. Locate the desired file in Microsoft Teams and choose ... > Open > Edit in Teams.
2. Once the file is open, select File > Save as > Download a Copy.

For Excel Online: Unfortunately, the online version of Excel doesn't support saving files in CSV format.
