Can't figure out two simple formulas... please help!
I am reasonably new to complicated Excel spreadsheets and am writing a P&L at the moment for a new company.
I have costs that vary at different brackets, 40,100 and 200 customers. I want the formula to change for costs depending on what bracket it falls in to. logically I thought the formula should be =IF(A1<40)Then(A2=B3) But this comes up with errors and I dont have a clue how to google the right formula.
Second one is simple, if I have a complicated formula, and only one thing changes in it (C23*(N23/H23)) becomes (C23*(N24/H23) or something) how do you auto fill the next cells to go (N25, N26, N27) etc. Takes forever manually changing each cell when theres loads of data
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Easiest to demonstrate with a working example (attached). Re your first question, create a table with your brackets and create a simple LOOKUP.
The answer to your second question is:
=$C$23*(N23/$H$23)the dollar signs fix the column and row numbers. Copy this one down and N23 will become N24, N25 etc.. Copy it across and N23 will become O23, P23 etc. Don't want that, put a dollar in front of the N only.
