Can spread sheets that have been delete be retreived?

I deleted a spread sheet by mistake.  Can it be retrieved?

    Close Excel without saving your file with the deleted sheet. Open Excel and save the auto-recover version of your file.

    Hi

    If you have AutoSave turned on then, you can check the autorecovery versions(File >> Options >> Save >> Check the Autorecovery File Location.

    Over a year ago,while cleaning my desktop, I permanently deleted (with a SHIFT + DELETE) by mistake an important Excel File. I purchased a software "Wondershare Data Recovery" which enabled me to recover my file.
