This might seem like a silly question but we have a shared file at work and people keep removing stuff from the sheet and changing it. Problem is we don't know who and we need it to stop.
Is there anyway of seeing more of a record of this other than who was in the file?

If you want to control the editing of a workbook you can set access right and lock the workbook with password.
If you want to them to change and edit and to see who did what, you can enable track changes feature:
From Review --> Changes --> track changes --> enable it and then do the required configuration
