Bug?

I am trying to copy lines from the excel desktop app and paste them to online.  However, if any of the lines contain a carriage return, they paste with multiple lines in the spreadsheet online, even though it is a single line in the desktop app. 

I hope this isn't an undocumented feature, because it wouldn't be a very good one. 

Is there any way to prevent it from adding line like this?  I'd really rather not have to save a whole new copy online every time I want to add a line to this report.

 

The desktop version I am using is 2013.

    Hi Marke525 

     

    When you paste the data, "Paste Value" it will place your data in one cell.
