Adding text to filled shapes

If you want the text to change then typing

=$J$7

into the formula box while the shape is selected will cause it to display the cell content as it changes.

Try right clicking on the shape and you should see 'Edit Text', select this option and you should be able to add text inside the shape.

Select the shape, then simply type the digits (or other characters) that you want.

You can use the Font and Alignment groups on the Home tab of the ribbon to format the text.
