Activating XLook up in office 365

Can any one guide me to activate Xlook up function in my office 365? I recently subscribed to Office 365 Home and cannot find this function in the excel workbook or sheet.

In addition to Abiola1 info. By default on Office 365 Home you are on so called semi-annual channel, which means that new functionality is added twice per year. "New" means new for this channel.

That's definitely not the option if you'd like to play with newly introduced versions of Office applications. For that you may join Insiders channel directly from any of your Office application, step by step instruction is here https://www.techrepublic.com/article/how-to-join-and-use-microsofts-office-insider-program/

Here you have two options - select Insiders Fast channel or so called Monthly Targeted https://insider.office.com/en-gb/join. The latest is stable enough and as for today Excel on it has dynamic arrays and XLOOKUP.

Insider Fast is more risky but more challenging. However I don't recommend if you are not a power user.

  • Hello Bright,

The XLOOKUP function is only s available to small segment of Office 365 Insiders subscribers. It's not yet available to all Office 365 subscribers.. I use Office 365 ProPlus and I can tell you it's not yet available to me too... The same with Dynamic Array functions.
