Copilot is not available

Copper Contributor

I've gone through the process of uninstalling and then reinstalling Office 365 to make sure it's fully up-to-date. Despite this, I can't find Copilot in any of the applications like Word, PowerPoint, or Excel; it seems to only be accessible in Bing chat. Just to be clear, I am using the paid Office 365 family version which costs $99 per year. What steps can I take to fix this issue?

It is not built into the apps, you have to use online versions of the 365 apps.

@PrabalShrestha for desktop apps you can find it in teams ans the New Outlook. Other apps you need to use the web version

This is not accurate. It is available in M365 Apps for Enterprise as long as you are running CURRENT channel. I have Copilot visible in the ribbon on all client apps on Win11 cloud PC. On my Win10 it hasn’t shown up on all of them yet.

I believe that for Outlook, that needs to be either browser version or the New Outlook (which in actuality is basically the same as the browser).
Dear user,
That's exactly what happened to me here in Brazil. I signed up on the 19th, and so far this morning, no button has appeared in my MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.
I had purposely canceled Windows 10 updates using the stopupdates program. I released the updates, did everything possible, and nothing.
This morning, I logged into MS Word and went to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now (check for and install updates).
I said "Update now", and there was an update available. The service updated, restarted the MS Word app, and when it came back,
the "Copilot" button appeared in the "Home" tab to the right of the Microsoft Editor button.
Hope it works, dear user.
Attention: I wrote in English, but translated directly from the terms and words in the MS Word app in Portuguese. Perhaps the original English names are not exactly the same as those I typed here. I suggest attention.

@PatrickDrewsTSI After an update of my Office Copilot appeared.

I also determined today that on my Win10 machine, I had to disable the 'Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin' on all my desktop apps (Excel, Word, PPT and Outlook). After doing so, now all my client apps are showing Copilot integration.  So, there is something in Adobe's add-in that is breaking the ability for Copilot to appear in Office client desktop apps.

Glad to know that. So that's why after copilot appeared in my Microsoft 365 apps, Adobe Reader stopped opening PDFs. I'm having to open them using Edge, which is also a good reader, but not the same as Adobe.

Thank you for the suggestions, everyone.
I tried all the update options, turned on the current channel, then the beta channel. I tried the online version as well as the Mac and Windows desktop versions. I checked OneNote and Outlook. I ensured there was no Adobe add-on. Still no copilot option 😞

For me, I had to go to File->update license.
I have the NEW outlook and it is nowhere there. How did you enable it for New Outlook? Also, I have it enabled for OLD MS Teams but not appearing in the NEW MS Teams. Your help is appreciated.
