- RobQ_MVPIron ContributorI'd like to know how to get Copilot to.use information better shared in Teams chat.. For example if someone shared a table in a chat is like to be able to use it to create a document or something else.. Or add to it using Copilot like I could a table in Word.
- Chris_SpiveyCopper ContributorThanks!
- Thanks!!!
- TaniaKempfOccasional ReaderHi Microsoft Copilot experts! Do you have any tips to help make Copilot work well with my company's PowerPoint template? My company template isn't working well for me in Copilot. The template is rather involved, and I'm getting unusable bizarre looking slides. I know there are tips for creating *new* PowerPoint templates that will work well with Copilot. However, I don't have the luxury of creating a new template. I have to work with what's available - and somehow get it to cooperate with Copilot. I'd appreciate any tips and/or shortcuts on how to make this work better.
- M365061290Iron ContributorI agree

Is the Copilot product available for Ong or educational organizations?
- DanNarloch
Microsoft
Hi Erik, Thanks for the question. Yes, we announced in December that starting January 1 Copilot for Microsoft 365 is available for EDU customers. Please reference the blog here: https://educationblog.microsoft.com/en-us/2023/12/expanding-microsoft-copilot-access-in-education
- M365061290Iron ContributorWhat kind of graph objects can copilot read ? Can it read information from user profile card? Like skills ? Job title? Etc
- GabeHo
Microsoft
Hey Harsh, Copilot can read what's been indexed and you can review this doc for the content types that currently can be indexed. We're continually investing in more and the doc will be updated over time as enhancements are made. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftSearch/semantic-index-for-copilot#enablement
- JKingston05Copper ContributorWill the Copilot mobile app be available for enterprise users? If so, will it be available with Intune and Conditional Access policies or configurations?
- GabeHo
Microsoft
Hey Jon, thanks for your question. We're working on bringing the Copilot mobile app to commercial use through your Entra ID account but I don't have specifics on that yet. I'll bring back the feedback on Conditional Access to make sure they get it 🙂
- DigitalPocketCopper ContributorAlso is there a way to get co-pilot to access data inside my tenant for instance our Sentinel or access logs. Even if that's limited to security copilot there would be nice for instance to be able to ask the chat app and teams if in the last few hours I've received any messages that might be caught in m365 Spam. Can we build a connector for me or is there an out of the box way to search data within the tenant like I am referring to above.
- ScottSchnoll
Microsoft
See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/security-copilot/using-promptbooks for integration details between Security Copilot and Sentinel.- DigitalPocketCopper ContributorHi Scott this is for security copilot which I am patiently awaiting access to but we paid for copilot for 365. I wanted to know if there's a way to get it to be able to access some of the information the copilot for security might otherwise be able to help with.
- JKingston05Copper ContributorCopilot is great in Outlook and Teams on mobile, I use them to summarize threads and draft new messages. Will the M365 (Office) app get copilot in Word and PowerPoint files?
- ScottSchnoll
Microsoft
Copilot already exists in Word and PowerPoint. See https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business/copilot-for-microsoft-365 for more info.- JKingston05Copper ContributorThanks Scott. We removed the Word, Excel and PowerPoint mobile apps from Intune, so only the new Microsoft 365 (Office) app is available. I don't see copilot in the Microsoft 365 (Office) mobile app yet.
- KJampanaCopper ContributorAs an admin, Is it possible to disable the usage of Copilot without Transcription, the feature that is enabled via Meeting options?
- ScottSchnoll
Microsoft
Yes, you can do that in the Teams admin center.- KJampanaCopper ContributorThere doesn't seem to be an option on Teams admin centre. On the meeting policy option for Copilot, only options available are 'On' or 'On with Transcript'. And irrespective of these options selected, users are able to go to meeting options when scheduling a meeting to select 'Copilot' settings as 'without transcription'
- DigitalPocketCopper ContributorSimilarly if I ask copilot to review documents on OneDrive it I can't figure out how to ask it to review everything folder just specific documents can you help provide some guidance?
- GabeHo
Microsoft
Hey Jeremy, thanks for the feedback. Have you tried adding the link to the specific folder in your prompt?
- DigitalPocketCopper ContributorNo I will try adding a link, I rather conceptionally would prefer to reference the data inside the chat then provide a "link" to the chat as that workflow could reffrence external or internal data
- VjeraBA1150Copper ContributorHello! I am an IT teacher from Croatia. I am writing to you because teachers in Croatia are having a problem with Copilot. Our Ministry of Education has provided us with a Microsoft license for Office 365 A3 for faculty and Microsoft 365 A3 Extra Features for faculty, which supposedly includes a license for Copilot. However, when we try to run Copilot, nothing works. It tells us that we need another subscription or that we are not authorized for it. What do we need to check and do to activate Microsoft Copilot? We want Copilot for our work and learning, and everything that Microsoft 365 offers. Thank you very much for your help!
- Yana Terukhova
Microsoft
Copilot is a separate license from A3, now available to faculty to purchase.
