Tuning Your Network Performance

Microsoft

You’ve migrated your email platform to Exchange Online and have your core capabilities migrated to Office 365. Now what?

As a part of the Networking planning and performance tuning for O365 project, Microsoft compiled a number of articles, training courses and other resources to help you think through ways to improve network performance. Fine tuning your network can speed up connectivity and provide a better Office 365 experience for your end users.

One recommended best practice (both covered in Paul Collinge’s blog post and in the MVA training on Office 365 Performance Management) is testing TCP Window Scaling.

As Paul states, “This tops my list of things to check due to the impact it can have on performance and the amount of times I see it disabled on legacy network equipment.”

Read more on Paul’s blog to check out his advice on Window Scaling, Office 365 Connectivity, and other tips you can take to help tune-up your cloud performance.
