"Data" not an option under excel >file> options.
Cannot set pivot table defaults do to missing options "data". see screen shots of actual vs. should be. all updates installed. tutorial ( https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Set-PivotTable-default-layout-options-efd8569c-f07a-43c1-9db2-4f2912a0f94e) does not work.

Hi Jason, I'm having the same issue here where "Data" in the in the File, Options menu.
How did you get it to appear?

Thomas, check Data under Advanced menu. Depends on build it could be here.

Check in Customize Ribbon if Data is checked
That functionality was introduced here

Hello,
Data was checked. The data is not missing from the tool bar/ribbon, but actually missing from excel options itself where you are to change defauts etc.
