- DaveBilangCopper ContributorIn the licensing slide your mentioning that business premium also includes 100 jobs. But according to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/universal-print/fundamentals/universal-print-license there are only 5 included. Which one is correct?

Hi DaveBilang! The 100 print jobs in Business Premium is a recent addition. We are working to update our documentation to reflect this change.

Hi folks! This is Rachelle here from the Universal Print team. Please fill out this survey to provide our team with your feedback on Universal Print's security: https://aka.ms/upsecuritysurvey - Jacob_VBrass ContributorSeems like at some point there should be an unlimited option or the ability to track print jobs based on groups so that we customers can budget properly for misguided users.

With recent changes to Microsoft 365 E3, E5 and Business Premium licensing, Universal Print now adds 100 print jobs per license per month pooled at tenant level. This should meet the print needs of most organizations.
Additionally, you can create a PowerShell script using the Microsoft Graph PowerShell module to get print data from Universal Print and user data from Entra ID - you can then combine this data to get usage per department.
Thanks,
Saurabh

- Charlie DobsonIron ContributorWe demoed MUP and were turned off by the cost per print jobs and additional print job packs. This really felt like nickel-and-diming customers.

Hi Charlie Dobson, thank you for the feedback! We now offer 100 print jobs per user per month, pooled at the tenant level, for Microsoft 365 E3, E5 and Business Premium, as well as some of our Government licenses. Other licenses offer 5 print jobs per user per month. Please take a look at our licensing documentation for more information: License Universal Print | Microsoft Learn

Welcome to How secure is Universal Print? and the second annual Microsoft Technical Takeoff for Windows + Intune! Have a question? Post here in the Comments so we can help. Let’s make this an active Q&A!
- rryoussefCopper ContributorPrinter options are missing for all Konica printers installed on the user's devices. Universal Print pushed from Intune, and installed the correct printer driver on the connector server. Is it possible to update the Universal Print Class Driver on the client side to collect all the printer options? Thanks
- GaryBaerBrass ContributorTo my understanding, KM (and others) which have extended printer options (especially post-printing options) are not available in MUP. Not sure if they are working on it. But we have to use the KM OEM UP solution if we want these features on the client.

rryoussef, if your KM printers are i-Series MFPs, then we recommend using the Universal Print app offered by KM. You can find more info at Konica Minolta Launches MarketPlace Universal Print App | Konica Minolta.
In regards to your question, as Gary mentioned, many OEM offer their own custom way of offering print options which may not be compatible with Universal Print. Is there a specific print option you are looking for? For reference, Universal Print supports common print options and we've listed them at https://learn.microsoft.com/universal-print/fundamentals/universal-print-supported-print-options.

Jimmy
