Seems like at some point there should be an unlimited option or the ability to track print jobs based on groups so that we customers can budget properly for misguided users.

    With recent changes to Microsoft 365 E3, E5 and Business Premium licensing, Universal Print now adds 100 print jobs per license per month pooled at tenant level. This should meet the print needs of most organizations.

    Additionally, you can create a PowerShell script using the Microsoft Graph PowerShell module to get print data from Universal Print and user data from Entra ID - you can then combine this data to get usage per department.
