- ingenobajonfCopper ContributorWill we ever see a recycle bin or permissions for Planner? If a user deletes a task, bucket or the entire plan there is no going back, and you can't even know who was the user responsible... This is a colossal red flag, it is simply not usable in a professional scenario for a day-to-day task workflow.

Thanks for the feedback Jon - we recognize this behavior is frustrating and it's on our backlog. How has this impacted your plans in the past and what workarounds did you take?- atrain204Iron ContributorPlease prioritize this. DLP in Planner has been a big request for many years and it's frustrating to hear that its STILL on the backlog
- PietRemenBrass ContributorNew feature consideration - Ability to link in sub-projects into a master project plan and/or cross project interdependencies. Opens up the door for program management capabilities.

Thanks for the feedback. Are you familiar with roadmap in Project? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/video-welcome-to-roadmap-57764149-51b8-468f-a50d-9ea6a4fd835a. Curious if something like this addresses what you're looking for? Thanks.
- tobylumbericotechCopper ContributorWe run configured versions of project accelerator in multiple environments. However some of the core functionality available in the default environments is not available in the non-default environments e.g. the ability to load from a mpp file, use of P4W templates, use of custom calendars etc. What is the plan to enable such functionality in non-default environments and use within project accelerator?
- DomlitBrass Contributorhey toby, even in my non default envs I can still import mpp files with the accelerator deployed. there is an option on the bar when on the projects screen.

We are working on making sure that there is parity between named and default orgs. You will see items appearing in the roadmap soon.
- MACBrass ContributorWould non-licensed users be able to complete checklist items in the future? Seems like this would be useful.
- NancyatMSFT
Microsoft
Thanks for this feedback Mari! Definitely sounds useful. Out of curiosity, could you share how you might use this capability in your day to day work? What workarounds do you use currently?- MACBrass ContributorHi Nancy, our non-licensed users can update progress on tasks but not mark checklist items as complete. We would use Planner as a workaround, but it does not provide a full (comprehensive) view of the lay of the land when looking at a task in Project. If a non-licensed user could mark checklist items in Project as complete it would provide an up-to-date view and keep all relevant information in one spot.
- John_HooverIron ContributorAre there plans to allow for Assignments view across all built projects? My project teams are all cross-functional, working on multiple projects at once. I need to see across multiple projects for this feature to be of use within my organization.

Microsoft
John - what level of detail are you looking for x-project..- John_HooverIron Contributor
I love the Assignments view. It would be great to have that level of detail and control, except on the left hand side, there is an additional level of detail showing the projects a resource is assigned to, in addition to the tasks for each of those projects they have been assigned to. I currently have 40+ projects operating in my branch (we do consultant work). I am sharing a team of approximately 20 employees across those 40+ projects and need a way to easily visualize their workload across all projects.
- Resource
- Project 1
- Task assigned with hours and time frame details, including ability to update/move hours
- Task assigned with hours and time frame details, including ability to update/move hours
- Project 2
- Task assigned with hours and time frame details, including ability to update/move hours
- Task assigned with hours and time frame details, including ability to update/move hours
- Project 3 (and so on for all projects the resource is assigned to)

- sidhant_rahiCopper ContributorHi John, We want to listen to all your needs and especially understand the missing features, so that we can prioritize them effectively. Can you help us by filling this survey. https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=v4j5cvGGr0GRqy180BHbR1OvUA7nnfFIvhslqRMb4yNUQ0hLTENPTDgySTBSTTQ4NUhFS1dRV01WRC4u
- John_HooverIron ContributorResponded. You'll probably be able to pick mine out based on my priorities so I can push for wide organizational adoption of P4W. 🙂
- tvaughn12Iron ContributorWe have 100+ projects with approximately 40-60 tasks each. We use PowerBI to accomplish an broad view of everything, but agree that a built in feature into Project would be ideal for this.
- John_HooverIron ContributorTy, I did something similar with Power BI to gain a cross-project view. However, I (my organization) really needs the ability to see the Assignments view with all of its great features, across multiple projects at once.
- Lester_LovelockCopper ContributorWhen will all features be available in named environments as opposed to just the default environment?
- sidhant_rahiCopper ContributorWe have taken note of this feedback and gradually working on increasing availability of features in Named Orgs, details about the same would be updated on the M365 roadmap. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Planner%2CMicrosoft%20Project

- kunalyadavBrass ContributorHow to prevent guest users from accessing Project for the web. how prevent guest users from appearing in the add member list. So, they can't be added to a project the first place.
- George Bullock

This documentation should help: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/let-guests-see-your-project-in-project-for-the-web-81e1c210-74b2-4711-98ab-dea58f1b566b#:~:text=Let%20guests%20see%20your%20project%20in%20Project%20for,turns%20on%20guest%20access%20to%20group%20content.%20 Let us know if you need further information on this- kunalyadavBrass ContributorWould it be possible to have standard settings toggle option for Project for the Web for Guest users prevention? because if we restrict the Guest users access only to PftW on tenant in that case Guest users are not able to access other services (i.e. Teams, Planner) though.
- KuchenbaeckerITCopper ContributorHow does the evergreen process look like for Planner and Project? Is it possible to influence the process or temporarily suspend an update in the event of a problem?
- mylogi88Brass ContributorAre there any plans to improve the "Print" function for P4W? it needs to have customization capabilities like the Project for Desktop had. Have timeline and critical column adjustments. need to be able to share a good summary screenshot on presentations or share on email, etc.
- CeilineCopper ContributorHi Marina! We very recently rolled out an update to our Timeline Zoom feature, and we now allow users to zoom out up to 6 years. This zoom setting also applies to Timeline view's export to PDF feature - so hopefully that will help with generating a summary view.
- George Bullock
Microsoft
Currently you can export your schedule to Excel. In addition, the Timeline can also be exported to a PDF file for easy sharing.- John_HooverIron ContributorIs there any plan to add some options to the timeline pdf export so that it doesn't break up the timeline duration on to different pages for the same tasks? It would be great to have an "export to one page" option for .pdf. Then I can adjust the pdf printing within my pdf editor to get it printed on the right size paper to properly display it as a full size, well laid out timeline view.
- DomlitBrass ContributorCan we have a feature to export projects out of non default environment, can we have the ability to use project home with non default environment better program management features (program plan with multiple project plans inside it) as lots of my users want this can we have the ability to use non default environment with teams. can we have the ability to embed roadmaps in sharepoint sites why are the S-F, S-S, F-F "advanced dependencies" locked behind a P3 license, makes it costlier to use features that just used to be available in the desktop app.
- DomlitBrass ContributorAlso still cannot see video and blocked from reply to my previous post for message spamming, this is a shocking way to do an AMA tbh, email spam and having to keep refreshing alongside not even being able to see the video
- Brian-SmithBronze ContributorThe YouTube link to the video is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KXL9xycDec - you should be able to rewind to the start. Export Projects is possible from any Dataverse environment - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/project-for-the-web/export-user-data-from-project-for-the-web. Parity of features between default and named is certainly something we are aiming for.
