- I would like to teach my users how to protect their planner boards from staff deleting or modifying tasks they shouldn't be (#DLP)
- Only option I've found is to not tell people Planner exists so they don't go there and do something they aren't supposed to.
- For Frontline Workers we would love time based tasks. “12:00 Pick up delivery” and a timely notification in mobile. Any plans for that?

Hi AndyBa, thank you for this input. We are tracking this as a request for orgs with frontline workers. Would you share more details on how you'd like this to work?
Here are a few related questions, which will help us better understand the need:
- How will these tasks be created? Are you expected a frontline manager to create the task for their team, or are you envisioning the organization using task publishing or APIs to create these tasks for the appropriate team?
- Do you want the reminder to be shown at the exact due time? Or a little before the due time?

1. Managers in store creates the tasks. Ideal if they can create a task pool with all the in-store tasks. Then on every task they can set date and time intervall for that particular task. When the manager plans the week the schedule tasks populate the checklist. Today with recurring tasks the new task pops up after you complete the task. Would be a small win if that didnt happen or that you in planner can create your own view (like in sharepoint) and set as standard. Then they can have the "today view" everytime a frontline worker opens planner.
2. Today stores have found other 3rd party apps that displays tasks with color code. Green = Do now, Yellow = upcoming, Red = overdue The best way would be a combination of a notification on a mobile device and to have the ability to display tasks och a bigger screen. Frontline Workers dont look att their mobile devices all the time. AndrewFriedman
- A big challenge we have is no availability of subtasks. Is there a better way to do this or are you going to add that as a feature so we can have multiple people completing certain parts of the main task?
- This is available in premium plans Cody, checklists is one way in basic plans, but I appreciate these aren't assignable.
LARGE task might deserve its own bucket. Tasks can have checklists. When a checklist item is assigned, we promote it to a Task (see the ... menu) and then assign it.
- I love the way that checklist items are displayed for basic plans on the board view. It would be great if there was a switch to enable or disable displaying checklist items on the boar for all plan types, including premium plans.
- On project timelines in other Project Management Platforms (like Asana) tasks titles are visible on the task itself when viewed on timeline / gantt view. Will this be a feature on the new Planner for project timelines?
- Will you be able to move a task from a Standard Plan to a Premium Plan?
- Simple one: can you please provide a link to the downlaod of the beautifull new icon as svg. Perhaps some need to adapt their training material. Thank you.

- I found it in Teams by going into Planner, right clicking the icon, and copying the link. Then you can paste it into a browser to download.

- To be clear, the premium plan tasks are the only ones that can be easily seen in Power BI, as they sit in Dataverse. There are ways to sync Planner tasks to a different storage that is also directly available in Power BI, and several 3rd parties use this approach for their Planner Power BI solutions.
- One challenge of my team’s API integrations into Project for the web is that the access tokens we generate in Modern Authentication workflows expire really quickly. Is there a way we can configure these tokens to be more stable so our users aren’t constantly logging themselves back in?
