- GeorgeLiuCopper ContributorHow does this new Intune inventory collected work with Config Mgr's inventory in co-managed scenario?

Hey Cheng-- we do not interface with SCCM with the initial release, but we'd like to in the future!
- Jalel_JaziriCopper ContributorWill there be more "built-in" reports coming in picture?
- Abby_Starr
Microsoft
Hey Jalel-- the initial release of device inventory won't include reporting improvements. However, we're aware of the need here and have been working on some improvements that you might see in the future!
- jtschudyCopper ContributorWill there be any capability to add other resources that wouldn't be an enrolled device. Items like monitors.

Hi Jason! Great question. There will not be support for additional peripherals in the initial release, but we recognize the need and have support on the timeline.
- dkennedyBrass ContributorIs there a more comprehensive list posted somewhere of the inventory attributes currently included for release?

Hi there-- you can check out this blog article for the latest of what's included for release: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-intune-blog/device-hardware-inventory-is-coming-soon-to-microsoft-intune/ba-p/4238042
- dbaker2465Occasional ReaderIntunes does provide information of what devices needs updates, will intune be able push the updates needed
- RichP1930Brass Contributorhow can we get on the preview?
- Jason_Sandys
Microsoft
Hi Rich Peliel. Private previews are generally closed and by invite only based on a few factors. The best bet for participation in some private previews is to join and engage in the Microsoft Custom Connection Program: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-it-pro-blog/join-the-windows-customer-connection-program/ba-p/3473775. Note that we (Intune) generally don't do public preview anymore.
- akelley1850Copper ContributorWill we ever be able to scope policies and applications to individual computers rather than groups?
- Jason_Sandys
Microsoft
Hi Aaron Kelley. Anything is ultimately possible, but I don't foresee this as being anything that we ever pursue particularly since you can just create a one-off group with a single member as needed. I understand that an individual admin may not have permissions to do this, but how often is targeting a single device truly something you need outside of one-off troubleshooting or initial testing where this is significant?
- IntunestuffBrass ContributorAre ARM devices supported?
- Jason_Sandys
Microsoft
Yes. Windows on Arm is fully supported for nearly every feature in Intune (the only exception today is currently being addressed and should be corrected in the near future) and is a requirement for the release of all new features in Intune. Ultimately, it's just Windows and any exceptions that you may find should be treated as a bug.
- DamienC1295Copper ContributorCan we run a "on-demand" device inventory? How often does it run? Can we see the "last run" date and time?
- Jason_Sandys
Microsoft
Hi Damien Chavaz. More details to come once we release this feature to GA. From memory, subject to change, refresh is once every 24 hours and last "change" date of each attribute collected is tracked. I don't think there's an on-demand collection function today. What's your use case for wanting this?
- sateshbabulal1105Copper ContributorWhen data is uploaded to the cloud, there are always privacy concerns. Will the data collected by Resource explorer be accessed or shared outside the tenant it's collected from?
- Jason_Sandys
Microsoft
You, the Intune admin, are in complete control of what inventory data is collected and only what you specify will be collected for this feature. Nothing will be shared outside of your tenant and nothing is accessible outside of your tenant.
