- NicoleBealeCopper ContributorIn the preview version, we are not able to add Connectors. When will this be available?
- AbrakJamson
Microsoft
If you mean Graph connectors, you can do this now in the preview. There's a quick walkthrough in https://youtu.be/lfpDeM-J4us?si=06rFW7aTQ7AoLSat- rlee6767Copper ContributorThanks for the help Abram!
- NicoleBealeCopper ContributorHi there, will we be able to add our company Style Guide to Word/PPT to make Copilot's written content more brand-aligned?
- KevinSherman
Microsoft
We do not currently have that feature in any public roadmap. Please share that feedback in-product so we can capture with other pieces coming in from users (if you're not currently a user we'll still include this feedback in the broader set of feedback we're capturing).
- rbeckerBrass ContributorI understood there is a separate licensing model for Copilot, so I assume, it‘s not „on by default“, also not for a trial. I‘m asking because there are compliance concerns at some of my customers. The OST (including the EU-SCCs in there) are also covering Copilot? Is data deletion/purging from copilot possible as requirement of EU-GDPR to be able to delete personal data? What does the admin portal look like? Is copilot trained with the customers tenant historical data or is ir pretrained? How can I be sure, that Copilot does not drop my tenants data when it‘s used by other customers in other tenants? (How are „chinese walls“ be built around customer data?) Best regards, Ralf
- GabeHoFormer EmployeeHi Ralf, Microsoft 365 Copilot is compliant with our existing privacy, security, and compliance commitments to Microsoft 365 commercial customers, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and European Union (EU) Data Boundary. More on admin controls will be announced in the near future but expect it to be within the same Microsoft 365 admin center. Customer data is not used to train the foundation models. Finally, prompts using Microsoft 365 Copilot, the information contained within your prompts, the data they retrieve, and the generated responses remain within the Microsoft 365 service boundary, in keeping with our current privacy, security, and compliance commitments. You can read more about on the topic of data, privacy, and security for Copilot here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-copilot/microsoft-365-copilot-privacy
- Jim FallonBrass ContributorMS differs from Apple in that you cannot simply pick up the phone and get your screen remote controlled for very fast assistance. The Get Help app only does that if you toss the correct words at it; and I don't know a single Consumer that even knows it exists to get MS on the actual phone. Consumers: a class that Microsoft seems to consider second class to Enterprise users are a HUGE part of Windows. When they need help with regular everyday tasks, will you guys go over and above the call of duty to make sure all your apps have a co-pilot so average everyday folks have a place to turn since they cannot pick up the phone and just call like in the old days? I think there is a TON of opportunity here, please go all in on Consumers, and for that matter small businesses, which really means Mainstreet U.S.A businesses that rarely go beyond Word, Excel, and Quickbooks.

Thank you for sharing your insights on our support services and highlighting the importance of catering to both individual consumers and small to medium businesses (SMBs). We completely agree with your assessment regarding the vital role these groups play in our community and the economy at large.
Your concerns echo the sentiments we explored in our recent SMB blog post here , particularly on how technology, like Microsoft 365 Copilot, can serve as a catalyst for growth and efficiency among small and medium enterprises. As you rightly pointed out, SMBs are inherently innovative and ready to leverage new technologies like AI to compete more effectively in the marketplace. The Microsoft 365 Copilot SMB Early Access Program, as mentioned in the blog, is a testament to our ongoing commitment to fine-tuning our products based on real-world feedback from these crucial sectors.
Addressing your point on remote assistance and the Get Help app, we believe there's significant value in ensuring that our support services are easily accessible and effective in solving the daily challenges faced by all users of Microsoft products. Our vision with Microsoft 365 Copilot and other supportive tools is to alleviate the time-consuming, routine tasks that users encounter, enabling them to focus more on what they love.
We are excited about the opportunities ahead to enhance our support offerings, not just for enterprise-level users but also for everyday consumers and SMBs. We certainly share your enthusiasm for maximizing the potential in this space and are working diligently to expand access to helpful resources like Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Thank you once again for your feedback. We appreciate your engagement and look forward to delivering more user-centric solutions that support both individuals and businesses, regardless of size.
- 1B121Occasional ReaderIs everything free?
- JsodanoCopper Contributor🤣...no
- DomenikSowickiCopper ContributorWill we be able to disable Copilot until employees are properly educated about it? Will this be possible via GPO or Configuration Profile in Intune?
- GabeHoFormer EmployeeHey Domenik, Copilot capabilities will only surface for a user after an admin assigns them a Copilot license. In that way, you could internally mandate some level of training before assigning a license to them.
- Domenik2812Occasional ReaderHey Gabe, thank you for your reply! We did disable the license but the icon still appears and is clickable as an addin in Outlook. Also we have disabled the two tickboxes in our M365 AdminCenter Regarding "copilot content in Office apps". Trying to disable the add-in under "integrated Apps" does not work and shows a "something went wrong" Error message. Is there any other way to disable the add-in?
- John862145Copper ContributorHow can one access the Copilot API, and will it be paid or free for all programmers?

Hi Wenzel, we just published a video on the different ways developers can work with Microsoft 365 Copilot: https://youtu.be/lfpDeM-J4us?si=06rFW7aTQ7AoLSat- rlee6767Copper ContributorThanks Abram. Great response!
- PaulCinaCopper ContributorWhat are the plans for Microsoft 365 Copilot for Education users? The current GA announcement for 1st November and associated info pertains to E3/E5 pre-reqs and enterprise users only - what are the rollout plans, pre-reqs and associated details for Edu users?
- DanNarloch

We plan to bring the full value of our Microsoft 365 suite including Microsoft 365 Copilot to all customers including education customers using A SKUs. More work is needed for planning for Microsoft 365 Copilot timing and availability, and we’ll use our roadmap communication channels to provide more details on availability after the Copilot Early Access Preview.
- Stuart2465Copper ContributorThere is conflicting information about which license is required to be able to use Microsoft 365 Copilot. The press release in July at Ignite stated it would be available for Business Standard and Business Premium customers. The documentation for preparing for the release makes no mention of this ability and specifically states that Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise is required at the bare minimum. Can you clarify which is accurate?
- GabeHoFormer EmployeeHi Stuart, Microsoft 365 Copilot will be available for Business Standard and Business Premium customers, and is currently in Early Access Program stage. We'll be updating documentation, thank you for your feedback.
- annoyingcolleagueOccasional ReaderWhen do you delete the C of CRM and be aware that realtionship management in purchsing teams is at least equal important? Purchasing teams are in most cases the most digitalized department in a company and forcing others to raise their level in the same way. Thank you for any response.
- Sarah_GilbertSilver ContributorI am not sure I understand your question here. Is this regarding Microsoft 365 Copilot? Please elaborate

This is the logo of the copilot and is integrated in Outlook. Why "Sales" only? When I follow this button, it shows me CRM topics and lead to this AMA.
