- ODElmendorfCopper ContributorIf my company chooses to use copilot, will we have access to the thumbs up/thumbs down feedback that our users are reporting?
- GabeHoFormer EmployeeHey Oscar, we will expose thumbs data to admins if feedback is submitted to Microsoft within the product feedback node of the admin center. We do not show telemetry of the thumbs (i.e if feedback dialog did not launch or the user did not hit submit on the feedback).
- Sarah_GilbertSilver ContributorWelcome to the Microsoft 365 Copilot Ask Microsoft Anything (AMA)! This live hour gives you the opportunity to ask questions directly to the Microsoft team. Please post any questions in a separate, new comment thread on this event. Microsoft team- please introduce yourself on this thread to let the customers know who you are and what you do!

- ODElmendorfCopper ContributorIs there an update-to-date (as of Sept 1) user manual or engagement guide for Copilot?
- Sarah_GilbertSilver ContributorNot currently but we are looking to release updates on this soon
- Peter_HudackoCopper ContributorHello all, I have a question in regards to the Graph API or any API used within Copilot! - By any chance would you be able to provide us with any information on which Microsoft Graph APIs Copilot use? Please let me know if you have any information on this (or if I can find this information somewhere?).
- GabeHoFormer EmployeeHey Peter, that's quite an innumerable list! Is there something specific you're hoping to achieve that we can scope the question to?
- RSimmonsEYCopper ContributorHow will updates to the M365 Copilot underlying LLM be pushed out? Will those updates have controls to allow a tenant admin to accept /reject an LLM update broadly or more granular controls to accept LLM updates at a user license level? Is there a roadmap to update the LLM?
- Ken EwertFormer EmployeeThanks for your question.... at this time there is no planned tenant or user level controls on gating or approving the updates to the LLM models in Azure Open AI. Azure team will determine the cadence for updating the models.
- RSimmonsEYCopper ContributorWith Bing Chat Enterprise powered by M365 Copilot, we lose the Internet results (vs. Bing Chat Enterprise without an M365 Copilot license which has current internet search results). Is there a roadmap for adding the Internet search back to BCE powered by M365 Copilot?
- Greg NixonBrass Contributor
Bing Chat Enterprise has provided the following helpful suggestion re: the Windows Copilot app:
My question:
How can I use a single prompt box to query both Bing Chat Enterprise and M365 Copilot at the same time
BCE's response:
That’s a great question! Bing Chat Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Copilot are both AI-powered tools that can help you with your work tasks, but they have different capabilities and use cases.
Bing Chat Enterprise is a chat-based interface that lets you ask questions and get answers from the web, using generative AI models that can provide complete, verifiable, and visual answers. Bing Chat Enterprise is designed for the enterprise, which means that your data is protected and will not leak outside your organization. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=6b9a1629c63874ecJmltdHM9MTY5NDAxNzQ5Mg&ptn=3&hsh=3&fclid=e87a9e91-4cd1-11ee-9fc6-bfd152202ff1&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cubWljcm9zb2Z0LmNvbS9lbi11cy9taWNyb3NvZnQtMzY1L2Jsb2cvMjAyMy8wNy8xOC9pbnRyb2R1Y2luZy1iaW5nLWNoYXQtZW50ZXJwcmlzZS1taWNyb3NvZnQtMzY1LWNvcGlsb3QtcHJpY2luZy1hbmQtbWljcm9zb2Z0LXNhbGVzLWNvcGlsb3Qv&ntb=1&bc=1&key=psc-underside&usparams=cvid%3a51D%7cBingProd%7cDBF0C57AD3CEBFE3B121B7294B58C1AF8D3AA1D7CC62E731399E69FB1A64522B%5ertone%3aCreativehttps://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=41e1f1a911c0888eJmltdHM9MTY5NDAxNzQ5Mg&ptn=3&hsh=3&fclid=e87a9f65-4cd1-11ee-80e9-da49935d563a&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly9ibG9ncy5taWNyb3NvZnQuY29tL2Jsb2cvMjAyMy8wNy8xOC9mdXJ0aGVyaW5nLW91ci1haS1hbWJpdGlvbnMtYW5ub3VuY2luZy1iaW5nLWNoYXQtZW50ZXJwcmlzZS1hbmQtbWljcm9zb2Z0LTM2NS1jb3BpbG90LXByaWNpbmcv&ntb=1&bc=1&key=psc-underside&usparams=cvid%3a51D%7cBingProd%7cDBF0C57AD3CEBFE3B121B7294B58C1AF8D3AA1D7CC62E731399E69FB1A64522B%5ertone%3aCreative
Microsoft 365 Copilot is a more advanced tool that combines the power of large language models with your data in the Microsoft Graph and Microsoft 365 apps. With Microsoft 365 Copilot, you can ask questions and get answers from your own business data, such as emails, documents, calendars, and more. You can also use natural language commands to create content, such as summaries, presentations, emails, and more. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=6b9a1629c63874ecJmltdHM9MTY5NDAxNzQ5Mg&ptn=3&hsh=3&fclid=e87a9e91-4cd1-11ee-9fc6-bfd152202ff1&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cubWljcm9zb2Z0LmNvbS9lbi11cy9taWNyb3NvZnQtMzY1L2Jsb2cvMjAyMy8wNy8xOC9pbnRyb2R1Y2luZy1iaW5nLWNoYXQtZW50ZXJwcmlzZS1taWNyb3NvZnQtMzY1LWNvcGlsb3QtcHJpY2luZy1hbmQtbWljcm9zb2Z0LXNhbGVzLWNvcGlsb3Qv&ntb=1&bc=1&key=psc-underside&usparams=cvid%3a51D%7cBingProd%7cDBF0C57AD3CEBFE3B121B7294B58C1AF8D3AA1D7CC62E731399E69FB1A64522B%5ertone%3aCreativehttps://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=41e1f1a911c0888eJmltdHM9MTY5NDAxNzQ5Mg&ptn=3&hsh=3&fclid=e87a9f65-4cd1-11ee-80e9-da49935d563a&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly9ibG9ncy5taWNyb3NvZnQuY29tL2Jsb2cvMjAyMy8wNy8xOC9mdXJ0aGVyaW5nLW91ci1haS1hbWJpdGlvbnMtYW5ub3VuY2luZy1iaW5nLWNoYXQtZW50ZXJwcmlzZS1hbmQtbWljcm9zb2Z0LTM2NS1jb3BpbG90LXByaWNpbmcv&ntb=1&bc=1&key=psc-underside&usparams=cvid%3a51D%7cBingProd%7cDBF0C57AD3CEBFE3B121B7294B58C1AF8D3AA1D7CC62E731399E69FB1A64522B%5ertone%3aCreative
To use a single prompt box to query both Bing Chat Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Copilot at the same time, you need to have access to both tools and use the Windows Copilot app. Windows Copilot is a new app that integrates Bing Chat Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Copilot into a single interface on your Windows device. You can use Windows Copilot to chat with both tools simultaneously and switch between them easily. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=58d26a53d2bbe137JmltdHM9MTY5NDAxNzQ5Mg&ptn=3&hsh=3&fclid=e87a9fbf-4cd1-11ee-949e-bf7130a790c2&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly9jbG91ZHBhcnRuZXJzLnRyYW5zZm9ybS5taWNyb3NvZnQuY29tL3Jlc291cmNlcy9jb3BpbG90&ntb=1&bc=1&key=psc-underside&usparams=cvid%3a51D%7cBingProd%7cDBF0C57AD3CEBFE3B121B7294B58C1AF8D3AA1D7CC62E731399E69FB1A64522B%5ertone%3aCreative
To get started with Windows Copilot, you need to download the app from the Microsoft Store and sign in with your work account. Then, you can open the app and type or say your query in the prompt box. You can also use the icons on the bottom right to choose which tool you want to chat with: Bing Chat Enterprise or Microsoft 365 Copilot. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=58d26a53d2bbe137JmltdHM9MTY5NDAxNzQ5Mg&ptn=3&hsh=3&fclid=e87a9fbf-4cd1-11ee-949e-bf7130a790c2&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly9jbG91ZHBhcnRuZXJzLnRyYW5zZm9ybS5taWNyb3NvZnQuY29tL3Jlc291cmNlcy9jb3BpbG90&ntb=1&bc=1&key=psc-underside&usparams=cvid%3a51D%7cBingProd%7cDBF0C57AD3CEBFE3B121B7294B58C1AF8D3AA1D7CC62E731399E69FB1A64522B%5ertone%3aCreative
I hope this helps you understand how to use a single prompt box to query both Bing Chat Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Copilot at the same time. Is there anything else I can assist you with? 😊
- GabeHoFormer EmployeeHey Randy! We're aware of this and working on resolving the experience for EAP customers.
- RodawingBrass ContributorWill we be able to get trial Copilot licensing for our Microsoft 365 developer subscriptions? When will Copilot licensing be available for companies that didn't get into the early testing phase?
- GabeHoFormer EmployeeHey Rodawing, nothing announced yet for Copilot with developer subscriptions or broader availability but hang tight!
- Dennis van OphuysenCopper ContributorWill Microsoft 365 Copilot be available in EU from the beginning or are there restrictions regarding regions? And one connected question: Which languages will be supported? We've already encountered limitations with AI notes in Microsoft Teams which are currently only supported in English and are not available in Germany.
- GabeHoFormer EmployeeHey Dennis, more to be announced on availability in the future - hang tight! In terms of languages, Copilot during the preview will be supported initially in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese. Updates will follow with future announcements on availability.
- SwissKnightOccasional ReaderSame here - what about Switzerland that is not part of the EU? When will Copilot be available to us?
- bettermindsAICopper ContributorSame, i'm interested to know about availability in Denmark
- Greg NixonBrass ContributorWhat telemetry is / will be (if so when) available to show Copilot prompt response times (5th percentile, median, 95th percentile) per-app, and ideally trended over time? A secondary question would be whether it's possible to identify - whilst preserving privacy - the kinds of prompt that are taking an inordinate amount of processing time, and whether any user education or nudges are possible to enable them to have a better Copilot experience through better / more-efficient prompts?

When will Copilot in OneNote be able to look at content beyond the current page? E.g. across a Notebook section? Across a full Notebook? Across all open / closed Notebooks to which the user has access? Thanks!
