- giovanispCopper ContributorWhen will it be capable of referencing PDF files in the prompts, index the file, and then answer based on their content? Also, it cannot answer based on email attachments which is very disappointing.
- i_m_nirajCopper Contributorhow much time does it take semantic index to index new files if added in onedrive or sharepoint? and what can we do for better and faster indexing ?
- Paul_MarshallOccasional ReaderIs it possible to connect to Smartsheet, for Copilot to use this data too? Thanks for all the videos - super helpful!

- MarkTCasual ReaderWhy would I see different results when I run a Microsoft Search compared to a Copilot prompt. For instance if I use Microsoft Search to search for password, I get a list of OneNotes, SharePoint Sites and Documents that contain that word. However, if I ask Copilot to provide a list of documents, sites where the word password is referenced then it will only returns a few?
- giovanispCopper ContributorIt seems it lacks full indexing in many products, not only Sharepoint. I tried to ask for past emails on Outlook and it replies it cannot find. A quick keyword research on outlook is much better.
- JeffPosteOccasional ReaderI am a SharePoint Admin in our tenant. I ask Copilot 365 to list the sites in the tenant and it only gives me about 6 when we have well over 100. Why does it not list all of the SharePoint sites since I have permissions to access them? Does it for some reason only access the ones that I am an owner of, or is it something else I'm missing?

- Bipin-prakashCopper ContributorHi, I just ran that test on my tenant (I am a sharepoint tenant on my tenant as well). It looks like what was being retuned was sites/teams that I was a member of. All our sharepoint sites are teams sites for reference.
- JZMartinezCopper ContributorAs a SPO Admin you do not automatically have access to the data in every SPO. Correct me if I am wrong, but if you did a Bing search you wouldn't find content on sites you were not granted permissions to (as an owner or as a member/visitor). I am guessing Copilot is scoped the same way. As an SPO Admin you can grant yourself access to everything by adding yourself, but by default you don't have access to everything. Anyone please correct me if I have miss stated this.
- Scott_RoanCopper ContributorAs with ChatGPT.. Does copilot continue to learn from your previous prompts after the session is closed? ie.. if I have it create one powerpoint through a set of prompts will it be able to use that session to understand the next session better?

Hey Scott, Copilot does consider previous prompts from the same session to understand the next question better, but today, context isn't carried from one session to another. To be clear though, it's not training the foundation models.
- Scott_RoanCopper ContributorIs there any foresight into that? It seems that would be a great attribute for the end users.
- i_m_nirajCopper Contributor
copilot never uses your data or previous chats to train its model or to improvise. i have tried this myself
- Andre_CaronIron ContributorThank you for the information; it is concise and efficient. Your communication is clear, even for individuals whose native language is not English.
